Chronic Pain
Fascias are a thin envelope of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber, and muscle in place.
According to the latest findings in anatomy, fascias are at the root of chronic pain because our lifestyles and the passage of time make them dense and rigid. It is necessary to stimulate them in order to improve our general health and eliminate muscular and articular tensions that increase with age, sedentary lifestyle, bad posture, and repetitive movements.
Through self-massage and gentle stretching, the Melt method allows us to treat our fascia ourselves. Since our fascias are everywhere in our body, the benefits are multiple.

Self-massages: accessible to all
The primary treatment consists of 5 self-compressions on the feet and hands with a specific soft ball adapted to the fascia.
This treatment, which lasts only 10 minutes, must be done 3 times a week to obtain results. A 45-minute private class is all it takes to learn the basic compressions and to initiate your own treatment.
After practicing the basic treatment, hands and feet, for 3 or 4 weeks, you will be able to assess the results.
In some cases, depending on the type of pain, a more advanced treatment could be added with other types of balls, a roller, or by integrating some additional compressions to the current practice. For example, treatment of bunions and heavy legs will require the small loop in addition to the basic soft ball.
Melt also includes a multitude of exercises to strengthen muscles that tend to be abused and to help keep our joints stable.
These exercises are performed with different types of rollers.
To learn the method, you can do a private class, a group class or participate in a workshop.
